The Patriots are set to acquire yet another star player. Randy Moss is coming to Foxboro.
This is absolutely incredible, to get a player with his ability for merely a 4th round pick is great. New England has had success bringing in bad boys and turning them around. It happened with Rodney Harrison and Corey Dillon. Now it is about to happen with Randy Moss. The Patriots get rid of Deion Branch they pick up a 1st round pick and get a better receiver the next year.
They parly their 2nd 1st round pick into SF 1st round next year, a likely top 10 pick. The New England Patriots just play a different game than all other teams. They are just smarter. That is why they will raise another Vince Lombardi trophy this season. God Bless the Patriots.

I’ll wait to see how he does before this is called a good trade. They said the same thing when he went to Oakland, and he did nothing there.
They’ll have some tough competition to get another trophy too. If history is any indicator, the Chargers will be the ones raising the Lombardi trophy, not the Patriots.

As a Patriots fan I am excited to hear this news. I am sure Moss will fit in perfectly with the Patriots, and I see no reason for them to not win another Super Bowl. I did not watch the draft religiously this year because I really see no sense in seeing who is on teams until the actual season comes around, or at least closer to it. But hearing this makes me more anxious for that time to come.

the patriots always luck-out with players. i strongly dislike the patriots, but i respect them. though, i wouldn’t mind if moss broke his ankle.

Jim, as a fellow Pats fan, I’m pretty pumped that Randy is coming to town. He’s just one of those guys you love to hate unless he ends up on your team. (Much like I feel Jeter would be received if he played for the Red Sox.) It’s going to be fun to see if the Pats can tame this bad boy and expose him as the true speedy weapon he used to be in Minnesota.

Can’t wait to see Moss in a Pats uni this season. I agree, if i was a betting man i would be bettin’ the farm and the Pats this season. Moss will acclimate to the Pats philosophy and we will win the Lombardi Trophy this year!

I think if anybody is going to tame Randy, it is Bill B. Much like Bobby Abreu, throw Moss on a competitive team and he will emerge, which pisses me off to no end because the Pats had a great offseason. They have a dynasty front office and that spells success for an extended period of time.
