Where’s the ethics?

I have been following the news coverage and seeking answers for the tragedy at Virginia Tech just like millions of other people across the world. This disturbing message sent out by this deranged killer just send more information into how screwed up this man’s life was.

For any normal person this act is despicable wrong and shameful, but Cho Seung-Hui thought he was serving a higher purpose with this awful killing. By sending his manifesto to NBC they had a choice with how to handle it. They handled the situation wrong in my opinion. They have the blood of 32 innocent victims on their hands for the way they have glorified theses murders. I have no issue with NBC using the manifesto for commercial gain, any news organization would do the same thing, but to stamp NBC news on every document that is being used to discuss the incident is awful. Where is the moral standard in journalism? Where is the integrity? Where is the trust they are supposed to show to the people? The answer is the only thing that matters is ratings and money. NBC just like every other news organization does not care all that matters is the bottom line. Now NBC has those innocent victims blood on their hands and I hope they are able to sleep ok at night because of that. I know I wouldn’t be able to.

  • NBC created this monster and they are trying to create another one by playing his propaganda video over and over. All the victims’ families should join together in a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT against NBC for wrongful death. You don’t believe it? Well, why did he sent his garbage to NBC? He knew that his propaganda would be shown by them because all he was really doing was mimicking their propaganda anyway. The Left says all us crackers deserve to die for what some moronic morons who lived 200 years ago did, and this guy just took that stupidity to it’s illogical conclusion. NBC is Cho’s father and ABC is his mother, and they are proud of their bastard child. Just turn on the TV and you can see their pride and joy.

  • I had no problem with NBC showing the video of the gunmen. And, I had no problem with the decision to curtail the use of it as events continued to unfold. No one ever said covering news was easy or always pleasant.
